This is Eddie. He is partially blind, and since his retirement has regularly visited St James' Park, London, to feed the Pigeons. The Pigeon on his shoulder has one leg and is often attacked by the others during the race for seed. Eddie's shoulder is the only protection against the perpetual attacks of the other birds, and has become the only safe haven for him to eat in peace.
